My Convocation

16 October 2011 was my convocation day but honestly, not so excited because almost a year I've leaving the uni life. I've been waiting for 11 months for this day. It was suppose to hold on August but Uniten has some changes on their education schedule. Finally I graduated in Bachelor of Information Technology (Graphics and Multimedia) after spend 5 years and RM50,000 to finish my degree at UNITEN..haha. By the way, I'm more excited to meet my friends. After last year gathering some of us were never meet up or even contact each other. Have a short gathering during robe collection and rehearsal. Glad that some of them are really doing good and a few of them decided or continue study for Master. Uni life~ sometimes I miss it very much. Well, thanks to my families who came from Sarawak just to attend my convocation. Thanks for the flowers and of course the be@rbrick Gremlins 400%!

Saw this creatures when I'm watching Taiwanese variety show. The host, Huang Zhi Jiao that time introduced his bearbrick collection. Fall in love with them and I want collect it too. Innocent me thought they are just cheap toy but I'm totally WRONG. Bought my first bearbrick for RM12.90 at Midvalley. Lucky me picked artist series 11 from the blind box. My love for them become deeper and deeper~ Yeah, I have been poisoned badly. Current price per box is RM19.80 if don't have promotion @ Action City. Not all I bought from blind box but some of them bought online or separately from Urban Tee @ Sunway Pyramid. Maybe my cute definition is slight different from other. :) I'm not super fanatic about it because I still in rational stage. Need spend wisely since I have to save money for other expenses. Now, I'm searching for the old series.

P/s: One of my boyfriend's requirement is must know what is be@rbrick. :D

After 4 months, finally I'm back! I'm not more a uni student. I'm a standard "kuli"...err~ worker who work office hour at company "A" with standard salary. Felt thankful at everything, thanks to my family and friends who direct or indirectly help me.

Let's update my working life~ Production Resources Officer. My job is more to admin work, involving ScheduAll and SAP. Basically need to have a good relationship between all the supervisors because I will interact with them frequently regarding the booking. Also the vendor. I faced difficulty at the first month because I need to learn fast and adapt all then apply on the spot. Damn on what ScheduALL and SAP.. apa tu pun x tau. Luckily my boss and colleagues are nice. They willing teach me one by one. That's the most important. My busy level depend on what is happening at production team. Like now are Akademi Fantasia 9, Astro Star Quest, Masterchef and so on. Actually when I heard some of my friends who work in graphics field, big big company with big big salaries, I'm very envy. But now I felt grateful. At least I'm happy, enjoy with my work and less stress compare to them. Let's gain working experiences first. My friends seem very busy even when I want meet them I need to make appointment..LoL. Anyway I'm proud of my friends and wish them all the best la..haha. I miss my friends very much. How are you guys?

Ta ta~ This is my colleague, Nana. 1 years older than me from UiTM. Sama sot de, haha. Everyday talk about keep fit but also what to eat for lunch at the same time. Another colleague is Indian guy, Vanan. Not Vshan laling ya..haha.

As usual, I love to eat so of course I won't miss out the photo of nice food that I ate during my lunch time. First row is ayam penyet. Suddenly I miss the gathering at Seksyen 15 Bangi with my friends. Second row is ekor goreng and telur dadar yang lazat at Sri Petaling..yummy!

Happy hour Friday~ Kak Nak Jem bawa limau bali. On the spot we eat 2 pomelos. Some more with the belacan too.. dae bak! haha.

Went for jogging after work. Normally reached home at 7pm. 7.30pm start jogging for 30 minutes. Weekend 1 hour. What to do~ after left uni no more sport for me. To enjoy more food I need work hard to stay healthy..haha. Hidup untuk makan.

My secret place. Secret Garden? No~ is secret car park..haha. Really enjoy jogging at the car park roof with Kajang view. Peaceful except the Pak arab keep whistle at me from apartment corridor but I just ignore, I admit I'm a "pretty girl" jogging at special place..haha. Increase my mp3 volume and pretending I didn't hear it.

Don't know why when I was in primary school, I willing to save all my pocket money just because of this blind box with nonsense toy inside..haha. Still remember mama everyday gave me 50 cent only (dah banyak lah zaman tu). The blue box is Ding Dang and the white box is Tora. Both of them are RM0.50 per box and RM0.80 per box last 17 years ago. Damn, now the price is double up, man~ Only the kid full of curiosity like me will buy this "fun" boxes. Until now, I still very attracted to blind box. Yup, correct! Is the be@rbrick Series. Besides the toys, the box included a packet of chocolate biscuit balls. The taste? Taste bad..haha, I don't like eat sweet things. After so many years, I bought these boxes again. Still curious what are the toys they will put inside the boxes. Cis, buruk buruk buruk! Give back my money! Haha, anyway~ it was fun after almost 20 years, I bought it and feel so excited to open and recall back my unwise action why wanna spend on such thing, LoL. Saja~ sokong barangan buatan Malaysia...wahaha.

妈妈终于到Kajang了。今天是第五天，真的感觉好幸福。而且幸福感觉会延续到十一月。今天悲剧却发生了。我跟我弟大吵架！事情是酱~我很烦了结果还要听他在念他的女朋友。好心叫他别大声说话，结果他还以为我骂他。他不停的狂骂我~心情被糟蹋了，终于轮到我发疯！狂丢东西，看到什么就踢！厕所门给我踢坏了。压力达到不行也崩溃了。还好妈赶紧拉我安抚我。那时的我仿佛的失控了。哭到~够力下。真的~ 现在的我好对不起我妈。想道歉却开不了口，死爱面子。她好不容来这陪我们却让她看见了这种事。没有用的我只会自造麻烦和负担。

今晚我叫妈妈跟二姐睡了。前几天跟妈睡，妈问我有“朋友”了吗？我回答没有。八年了~八年没谈恋爱也不懂怎么去谈了。自我保护太强，懦弱，没自信，爱自己多过爱别人。但是真的不用担心，我不是同性恋。就顺其自然吧~爱情不是全部。我还没资格去拥有。

忙忙忙！也不懂怎样去处理，课业好重。希望我可以应付得来。头痛但还是不能停下来~撑着！

Hello everybody~ It's been a long time I didn't update my blog. Well, student life especially when it comes to final year, one word- BUSY! Luckily I have only one midterm test this semester, not like other friends who have 3 or 4 subjects need to study. Oh ya~ now I'm having my mid break for 2 weeks, yeah! I'm not going back to hometown (Sarawak) but need, have, must stay at home doing my final year project. I need to start my video shooting which will spend a lot of time. So too bad and sad again when your holiday is not really a holiday. Anyway~my mama and dajie will come to KL soon, haha. This time mama will stay for more longer, 2 months! Happy happy.

After 3 Weeks Of My Final Semester

Finally~ is my final year and also my final semester. My friends and I gonna busy like an ant doing own FYP + assignments + projects + tests. No more hang out, maybe seldom mamak-ing or even no time to meet each other. Soon, we will separate to other places, working far away or getting married. Another around 12 weeks for us to enjoy the uni life before we all will have own life later. I knew my papa read my blog, so sweet~ Hurm, just wanna update for him what I'm doing recently in UNITEN. 1st week was World Cup fever. On the 2nd week, I joined netball team for Karnival Sukan 1 Malaysia UiTM and get 4th place from 8 teams, of course sunburn too. So surprisingly, your daughter was a dean's list for last semester and was her 1st time received this kind of honor after 3 years in UNITEN, LoL! Yeah~ received a certificate from Dr. Abdul Rahim as Deputy Dean (Student Affairs) of COIT. Congratulation also to my friends. This week went to movie with friends but a lot of problems happened. It's ok~ no more event like this in future. That's all. Tata~

Very happy to announce that Sibu has it first "Cha Can Teng", Boston 又一城 and also is the first outlet at East Malaysia. Now, officially opened for Sibu citizen. At least next time I go back to my hometown, I still can have a cup of Ying Yong tea..hehe. For food, I managed to tried the Dry-fried Flat Noodles (Kueh Tiaw) with Sliced Beef Tenderloin. The taste was not bad. Price? Affordable by everyone but maybe a bit pricey for the student. Still need work hard especially at the service part because I read quite a lot of bad comment at their Facebook's page. Anyway, this is a new trendy for Sibu citizen. A new place for youngster to hang out, no more kopitiam and "kampua".

Every 9th day of CNY, all Hokkienese will worship and pay homage to Jade Emperor. On this day, I never miss out to go to Dong Zen Temple at Jenjarom. I went there to pray for our family's happiness and don't forget about my study too. The temple was decorated so beautifully with the lanterns. Besides enjoying the beautiful scenery, the visitors can have vegetables food at the stall provided. This year was Tiger year so can see the main character, Tiger lantern everywhere.

1. On the second day of CNY, it was my 24th birthday too. Very excited because is my 24th plus tiger is my Chinese zodiac year. But it's end up with a bit disappointed because my family members forgot my birthday. Shocked when my brother is the first person who wish me that. First sms was from Vicky Ngieng, my bestie sister. Anyway, thanks for those who sms, call or wish me face to face. Birthday falls on CNY is not a good things.
2. My parent prepared steambot to treat the relatives. Mostly my presents were angpows or in other meaning, CASH.
3. Gambling is a compulsory activity during the CNY and I won RM8.00 after gambling for a week, wakaka.
4. Went to Sarikei on the third day. Met up friends. Too rush so couldn't visit all the friends. Visiting my basketball coach and senior players at his new house.
5. Back to Sibu the next day. Relatives continue came visiting. All the nephews and nieces was so cute. This year no much hanging out, friends getting lesser and I getting older~

Summary of the First Day of CNY 2010

1. Early morning, mama cooked the long life mee and chicken soup as breakfast.
2. Took bath and dressed up nicely to greet everybody.
3. Papa and mama gave angpows for us. Amy & Winnie gave them the red packet too as they already working. Next year will be my turn if I started working.
4. Get ready to go back to "kampung" at Durin, Sibu. Visiting my relatives.
5. Went to explore my kampung with my siblings. Found out the sweet oldie memories, weird & fun things, trees, flowers etc.
6. Is time for the dinner, all the girls gathering at the kitchen and preparing the food.
7. After the dinner, we went back to Sibu again.
8. End of the first day of CNY.

Summary about my 2010 CNY Eve

Roarrr~ Harimau sungguh kuat! Yeah~ Finally the tiger year is coming! I'm so excited. According to Chinese calender, 2010 is the tiger year and it's my year too. Another special about this year CNY is it falls on the Valentine's day. As usual, I went back early to Sarawak at 9th until 19th February (Hak keistimewaan Sarawakian). Of course I've to skip a few of classes. Reached Sibu at 9am then parent know I must be hungry so we having breakfast at Rasa Sayang Cafe. After 2 days, my third sister reached at Sibu and whole family went to airport again to fetch her. On the way home, something funny thing happened, my clumsy sister took other bag home (same bag same pattern). Luckily the owner of the bag was my sister secondary schoolmate. My eldesr sister still no yet coming home because she need to teach until Friday.

Sibu town was crowded with people. Everyone was busy doing their shopping. At night, all kopitiam was full too. No food for you if you don't go to and waiting in front of the stall. Makanan kena guna rampas baru dapat survive. Gile betol, macam bulan hungry ghost pulak. Tauke pun jadi angkuh. Nak mencarut terus terhadap orang yang tak pandai berbaris..everyone "kiasu" (takut kalah in Hokkien) kot. Bengang betol and I takde mood nak makan lagi kerana ketakutan melihat lipas bebas bergerak di gerai mi sehingga lipas bermaharajalela melintas di atas kakiku. GELI!

CNY Eve, a very important for every family where they will gathering and enjoy the meal together. This year only 6 persons because Moonkitty tak balik. Ticket mahal gile siot. One way RM800, sudah boleh pi Hong Kong pergi & balik. A simple dinner cooked by my mama and Winnie. Started from 6pm untill 1pm, the firecracker and fireworks non-stop bombing the air, nak bertanding rumah siap lebih kaya gua. We promised Mookitty that we will MSN with her at 12am but MSN jammed sangat, dapat log in pun webcam lag. Plus parent already sleep. Orang tua dah tak larat berjaga malam. Good news. After twice receiving treatments from physician at Sibu, I guess my right ankle was fully recovered. Anyway, my right ankle looks different from my left ankle. Dah lari alignment kot although the physician turning my ankle left, right, up and down until my papa can heard the "crunchy" sound from my ankle. Now I want back on track to make myself fit since I put on weight so much during these holiday. By the way, I will continue enjoying eating too..LoL.

Yippe, after a week at Hong Kong, now I spend my holiday at Sarawak. My new semester will be start on 5th July only. So this is my first time I have my long long holiday since my 3 years at university. 29th April reached KL from Hong Kong then 30th April morning I reached Sarawak. Really a marathon flight trip..super duper tired neh~ Never mind, now I have a lot of time to relax and thinking the idea of project 2. Of course I will not abandon my blog, I still a lot of things want to share will you all especially my Hong Kong trip. Well, the day I reached Sarawak was my 3rd sister, Winnie's birthday. We had a simple celebration and mama cooked mee sua, "long life mee". At night, we sista went out to have a drinks. The day after Winnie's birthday, we helped our mama to celebrate her advanced birthday too. We had dinner at night and we ordered a cute cake for her. I can saw that my mum very happy but do you know what is her birthday wish? She want her daughters fast fast get married..wakaka. So Annie or Winnie, got it? Absolutely not me, I still too young, ok? LoL. Anyway, I really hope that our family will happy and stay healthy always. No matter rich or poor, make sure we all are together always. We are one family. Everything we share, we care and learn to appreciate every moment we have. Love you guys, my family.

Yayaya~ I know it is a very super late post but I'm was too busy with the study and project so only now I've time to blog it. With Moonkitty went to Seremban to take my elder sister, Amy's electronic dictionary. We decided settle our lunch at Seremban before heading back to Kajang. Moonkitty brought me to try the famous baked crab at Seremban Seafood Village. This shop has been recommended by many media, one of then is Astro AEC, "Taste With Jason". I love the sauce very much. Taste so perfect when dip it with the crab meat. There are only two of us so we didn't order much, only order 2 famous dishes, the grill crab and egg yolk butter squids.

As usual, like a tradition there is a hang out session with my friends. At least we will have a dinner together. But most of us still busy with the FYP project 1 and Multimedia System Design project. So the gathering felt suck because a lot of them missing in action. I miss the first BIG gathering at the first year. Never mind, I understand. Some of them need get ready for their industrial training and started working too. This semester memang gile bowling and makan-makan only. Seem I'm the "freeman", each hang out I must count in. Today is my second sister birthday, Annie and also known as Moonkitty. Actually wanna bought a set of aquarium with guppy fishes and equipments for her but Winnie and Ati disagreed. So I sponsored the Sesame Street Cake for both my April Babe Sister and cousin, Annie, Winne and Audrey. Yesterday went to 21st Century Cafe, saja nak pi tiup cake.

Nak tulis kata-kata yang mengharukan I memang tak pandai. Cuma mengharap kakak Annie ni bahagia, kerja pon smooth aje dan dapat bonus setiap tahun. Sihat selalu dan kuat macam lembu, tahan hujan tahan panas. Makan ikut masa supaya tak gastrik, muntah-muntah and lau sai..haha. Pandu kereta perlahan sikit, jangan anggap Kenari u tu ialah Ferrari, mentah-mentahlah kerja kat Supersport tengok banyak lumba keta. Ada masa mali jalan-jalan cari makan lagi, pi melancong. Dah cukup, nanti merapu banyak lagi.

Tong Bee Stall or "longkang siham" is highly recommended for all travelers that are exploring street food in Malacca. The stall has more than 40 years history. Even this stall has good recommendation from Taste with Jason (AEC Astro), Mark Lee (Singapore Celebrities), The Star News Paper, Flavour Magazine, Life Publisher, Sin Chew News Paper and many more.

Maybe some of you thinking that eating by the drain sound not appetizing but you never try you never know. You will not regret the experiencing of tasting the seashells with its special sauce. Besides cockles (siham), other shellfish available are snails (siput) and clams (lala). I was wondering how they can serve the cockles in such juicy and plump. So I observed and found out that the preparation is simple, only boiled the shellfish then served. Probably they have their own techniques to boil it.

Came to Tong Bee Stall but can't eat seashell because of allergic? Not a seashell fan? Don't worry~ there are other side order like sotong kangkung and rojak. Another side order is fish cake, 'taukua' and 'you char kueh' that are sprinkled with ground peanuts and sweet sauce.

Non-stop customers came in and out. The stall continue busy unless the seashell and other side dishes sold out. Come early to taste or just wait patiently to get the the tiny stools to sit.

Datang ke Melaka mana boleh tak rasa sate celupnya. Let's come to Ban Lee Siang, one of the oldest and most original satay celup restaurant. What the different between Lok Lok, Steamboat and Satay Celup? Lok Lok is dipping the raw food into the hot water; Steamboat is put all the raw food into the hot soup either is chicken soup or tom yam soup; Satay Celup is dipping the raw foods into the hot peanut sauce. We reached early at 5.30pm so the sauce is fresh from the kitchen. After eating the Satay Celup, make sure that drinks a lot of plain water to avoid get sore throat. Err~ there is something I wanna share la, the peanut sauce maybe is the recycle one..wakaka. If you are hygienic person, DON"T EAT. Okay? If want eat, don't think too much. Makan saja masuk mulut and telan. But my mama told me, eat a little dirty food then you can grow more healthy, can build antibiotic in body.. XD

One Day Trip to Malacca - "Mua Chi", The Glutinous Rice Pieces

What is "Mua Chi"? I guess most of my Malay and Indian friends do not know what is "Mua Chi". Erm~erm~erm~ Mua Chi ah~ is made from sticky glutinous rice flour bits rolled in ground peanut, sesame and sugar. "Mua Chi' is a Chinese delicacy look very similar to the "Tong Yuan". The different only with the size where "tong yuan" needs rolled it into rounded shape. This stall caught our attention because there were 3 kids who selling the "Mua Chi" and "gula ketuk". I guess all of them only at primary school age. I was wondering they go to school or not. Erm, suddenly felt pity to them, suppose to have a life like other kids but they need to work at this young age.

After ate chicken rice ball and cendol, we walked along Jonker Walk, also known as Jonker Street. Jonker Street is a "must-go" place in Malacca. For those who want to discover Malacca in interesting and interactive way, it is highly recommended for you to visit here. Macam-macam ade at there especially FOOD, antique, wood handcraft, clothes and various souvenirs. Don't forget to have a look at the unique building architectures where each of them have their own history. We have our second cendol at "Jonker Dessert". As usual long queue too. The different of this cendol is, it added some fruit inside the cendol.

After 5 years, I came to Malacca again with my siblings and brother in law. That day was public holiday for Selangor due to Sultan Selangor birthday. Of course I only aim for the FOOD!!! I guess everyone know the Malacca history but if really don't know, please read From 3 text book ya. Very lucky that day was a sunny day~ no raining. Maklumlah I ni budak hujan. Departed form Kajang at noon and reached Melaka after one hour. Quite crowded and all parking was fully parked. Finally, we found the parking and started our mission, "jalan-jalan cari makan"

So, during my study week, I went to Jabatan Imigresen at Perhentian Kajang. 8 o'clock I reached the office but, Mak Oi ku~ I was so shocked to look at the loooooong queue. That damn long queue is just to take the queue number only. Apasal panjang barisan aku pon sik tau. Never mind, be patient. You know what, I wait until one and half hour to take my number! My number was 1128 but that time the number only reach 1033! Still 95 persons to go. Haih, so sad that only 3 counters opened. One "kaunter khas" is for disable people, 65 and above people, children below 2 years old. But number of counter has 16, tak kan takde orang nak keja kot. Berkat kesabaran I, at 3.30PM I've done all the procedure but still need to wait for 5 days to process my form because I'm Sarawakian. Really tired. Anyway my passport done on the 1st of April 2010. Good date.

Even got money to buy the ticket but I can't buy TIME for me to complete all this. Need scarified if I still want get graduate from UNITEN. Never mind, buy the DVD and watch it at home 1st. One day, I'm sure I can go to their concert.

My brother wanted to go to Sunway because there was a Comic Fiesta event held at Sunway. So we purposely fetch him to Sunway. While waiting for my brother, we do some window shopping. OMG, guess what happened? I found out a shop, named Urban Tee that has sold the old series be@rbrick with the opened boxes. Mataku rambang melihat be@rbrick yang banyak. I found the artist 1% series 18, if I bought it I manage to complete my series 18! Think and think about it, at last I bought it at the price RM95. I saw the hidden be@rbrick series 18, the Sponge Bob, RM60! I really wanted to buy it too. At last, RiverBird bought it for me as Christmas present, hihihihi. Memang kedai durjana. Thanks RiverBird.. My feeling like~~ so happy! Quickly sms Ah Kong to show off to him, ;p After one hour, my brother back from comic fiesta and we started thinking what to eat for our late lunch. Last, we went to Xian Ding Wei, a Taiwanese restaurant. If really want to rate the restaurant, I give 4 stars over 5. 1 star gone because the sweet potatoes balls already finished..wuwuwu~

Moonkitty went to Cameron Highlands last weekend. Suddenly she sms me said she got surprise for me. Erm~ I was thinking what so surprise? Be@rbrick? Domo? But at Cameron got all this thing? So I wait patiently until she reached home. Err~ guess what? She gave me a bouquet of pink roses. Walaoeh~ know I hate pink and she bought the pink color again, haha. The reason she bought and gave me this surprise because I never received any flower from anyone even from my boyfriend. Haiya~ that time dating masih kecik mah.. tak main romantik tu semua. My eldest sister came for holiday from Sarawak so as promised, we brought her to eat around. Besides fishing, Broga Recreational Fishing Park also is a "hidden" restaurant that special in grilled fish. Why I said it's hidden? Because it's located very deep inside where you need drive a narrow road to get there. It's very peaceful and every where looks green. The fish was caught on the spot and that's why the fish is extremely fresh.

Finally we managed to help our brother to celebrate his birthday since at his birthday week we all busy like crab. Again, Moonkitty the master planner decided go to Korean BBQ at Puchong. We just wanna try other Korean's restaurant besides our favourite, Nak Won. If really want to do comparison, I still love Nak Won.. :p But, I like the Daorae's glass noodle pan fried, in other word is vermicelli noddle. Besides celebrate my bro's birthday, is also a small reward for me because my netball competition that I participated have won and is champion.

With Moonkitty, I went to Maxis centre at near the Leisure to collect my new Maxis SIM card due I lost my hp last time. After that we decided went to Leisure Mall since its still early to go back to Kajang. Whole Leisure Mall was full of Mooncake Festival mood. We saw a interesting event at the ground floor concourse.
